The new interim Terminal Building, spanning 6250 square metres, is well-prepared to accommodate 300 passengers during peak hours. Passenger amenities include 8 check-in counters, 3 conveyor belts (1 in Departure and 2 in Arrival Hall), parking space for 75 cars, and 2 bus parking spots. Notably, the airport is designed to be PRM (Passenger with reduced mobility) compliant. Furthermore, the Terminal boasts sustainable features like a Double Insulated Roofing System, Canopies for energy conservation, LED Lighting, Low Heat Gain Double Glazing Unit, and Rainwater Harvesting for groundwater replenishment. The architecture harmoniously blends with Ayodhya's culture and heritage, with its façade depicting the upcoming Ram temple's architectural style. The Terminal's interiors are adorned with local art, paintings, and murals that narrate the life cycle of Bhagwan Sri Ram, offering an enriching experience for passengers.
