The Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU)

• The fourth largest aviation hub of China, the Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport features two terminal buildings: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The building occupies an area of about 124 acres.
• It structures more than 70 boarding bridges, 60 security channels, and around 200 check-in counters.
• The airport’s enquiry counter is based at the international check-in hall located at Gate 5 and Gate 8.
• The airport has two parallel runways for take-offs and landings.

If you’re an Indian passport holder travelling to Chengdu, then you are required to apply for China tourist visa - L visa. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of your travel with one blank page.

Complete and submit the China Transit Visa application form along with a coloured passport photo or you can even choose to submit the application to the Consular’s office personally. The normal time taken to process the visa is around 2-3 working days in express service, however you can also opt for a rush service at an extra fee.
